Position: Interventional Radiology Technologist

Unit:

102-1300-11206 - IR TECH

Shift:

Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30)

Experience Requirement:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Interventional Radiology with specific experience in Neuro and Stroke procedures
• Scrub experience in Neuro is essential
• Traveler experience is required; first-time travelers are not accepted

Certifications:

• BLS
• ARRT Certification (Advanced Certification preferred)

Skills:

• Experience in Interventional Radiology and Cardiac Cath Lab Procedures
• Proficient in various procedural techniques including but not limited to:
• Cardiac Stent Placement
• Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA)
• Scrub Procedures
• Embolization
• Liver Biopsy
• Neurovascular procedures such as Carotid Angiography and Thrombectomy
• Central Venous Access and Dialysis Graft interventions
• Knowledge of PACS, contrast administration, and maintenance of sterile field during procedures

Preferred Experience:

• Work in Teaching Hospitals and Community Hospitals
• Experience in Trauma Level I Centers
• Outpatient, Operating Room, and Emergency Department settings

Patient Demographics:

This position requires expertise in treating adult and geriatric patients, with some opportunities to work with adolescents. The daily caseload averages between 13-17 patients.

Equipment:

• Experience with Siemens and Phillips imaging equipment is required
• Acuson equipment proficiency is preferred

Additional Information:

Call may be required on weekends and evenings. This position offers a flexible schedule with staggered start times, and days off will vary weekly. Orientation and training will be provided at the beginning of the assignment.
