Position: LDRP Registered Nurse

Shift Availability

Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) settings.
• Conduct sterile vaginal exams and manage labor and delivery processes.
• Perform triage for obstetrical patients.
• Circulate for C-sections and respond to emergencies as part of the Rapid Response Team.
• Assist with newborn care and assessments.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in a Labor and Delivery or relevant nursing specialty.
• Certifications:
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • CLC (Certified Lactation Counselor) - preferred
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
  • Stable - preferred
• Proficient in using the Epic charting system.
• Ability to float between units as per unit needs.
• Availability for weekend shifts distributed evenly among staff.

• Patient Age Groups: Neonates, Infants, Adults
• Daily Census: Approximately 2 patients
• Number of Rooms: 3
• Support Services: Include Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, and Pharmacy.
