Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to join our team in a cardiac catheterization laboratory setting. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience and proficiency in various cardiac procedures and technologies.

Shift Information

• Work Schedule: 4x9 hour shifts
• Shift Hours: 0645 - 1615
• Total Weekly Hours: 36
• Call Requirements: 50% call, including every other weekend and holiday

Qualifications

• Minimum of 24 months of experience in a Cardiac/Cath Lab
• Previous travel contract experience within the last 12 months is required
• Proficient in the use of Artis Zee C-Arm and Impella
• Experience with additional equipment: Maquet IABP, Acist Injector, iFR, IVUS
• Fluoroscopy proficiency is required
• Comfort and proficiency in peripheral and coronary angio cases
• Experience with PCI and pacemaker procedures
• Active Iowa Radiology license is preferred; non-licensed applicants may apply for a license upon acceptance of the offer
• Certification: Either ARRT (CI or CV discipline) or CCI - RCIS

Documentation Requirements

• Resume or employment history showcasing 24 months of current Cardiac Cath experience
• Skills Checklist specific to Cardiac Cath discipline
• Professional Reference: Recommendation from charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO within the last 24 months is preferred
• Driver’s License
• Certification in ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• Certification in BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ARRT or CCI - RCIS certification documentation
