Job Opportunity

Position: Registered Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians in delivering high-quality patient care.

Job Summary

Plan, implement, and document nursing care tailored to the individual needs of each patient.
Identify patient needs and set priorities for care through comprehensive assessment and ongoing evaluation.
Develop, implement, and coordinate personalized care plans based on initial and ongoing patient assessments.
Conduct assessments based on patient issues, physician diagnoses, and functional health frameworks.
Perform therapeutic nursing interventions as required.
Manage and oversee the care of assigned patients effectively.
Document care in alignment with established standards and patient acuity.
Advocate for and support the adoption of evidence-based practices in care delivery.
Provide patient-centered care in accordance with professional nursing practice standards.
Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Skills & Experience

Required Skills & Experience:

Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a related specialty.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

Education

Required Education:

Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN).

Preferred Education:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Certifications & Licensure

Required Certifications & Licensure:

Basic Life Support (BLS - AHA)
New Jersey State Professional Registered Nurse License or multi-state compact license
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)

Preferred Certifications & Licensure:

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Advanced AWHONN or Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM)

Languages

English: Read, Write, Speak

Schedule

7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, working 13-week assignments.
Every other weekend and holiday shifts are required.
Minimum of two years of experience in Labor & Delivery (L&D) preferred.
Experience with EPIC systems is preferred.
