Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified X-Ray Technologist with experience in operating a C-arm for an opportunity in a fast-paced hospital setting. This position involves working primarily in the Operating Room (OR) with responsibilities extending to general X-ray services for Emergency Department (ED) patients, hospitalized inpatients, and outpatients when not engaged in OR tasks.

Shift Details

• Schedule: Monday through Friday
• Shift Start Time: 0645
• Shift End Time: 1515

Responsibilities

• Operate C-arm imaging equipment during surgical procedures (90% of workload).
• Perform general X-rays for ED, inpatient, and outpatient services when not in the OR.
• Adhere to departmental protocols and maintain a high standard of patient care.

Qualifications

• Valid Illinois state license required; Iowa license application needed.
• Must float between various departments as needed.
• Minimum of 2 years of prior experience in X-ray technology.
• Experience with C-arm imaging is essential.
• Completion of at least one travel contract is required.
• Must not have been employed in the last 12 months.

• Skills checklist completed within the last year.
• License verification documentation.
• Copy of required certifications.
• One supervisory reference at the time of application.
• Taxable address must be outside a 50-mile radius from the facility, except for local candidates in Madison, which will incur a 10% rate reduction.

The position is located in a facility that serves as a:

• Level 3 Trauma Center - Bettendorf, IA; Fort Dodge, IA; Sioux City, IA; and Madison, WI.
• Level 2 Trauma Center - Moline, IL.
• Level 4 Trauma Center - Muscatine, IA.
• Level 1 Trauma Center - Rock Island, IL.
