Position Title: Outpatient Dietitian

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Outpatient Dietitian to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be committed to promoting optimal health and nutrition through dietary management and education. This position offers a consistent schedule with no weekend or on-call requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized dietary counseling and nutrition education to patients.
• Develop and implement nutrition care plans based on patient assessments.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure integrated care for patients.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
• Stay informed of current nutrition research and best practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Dietitian.
• Registered Dietitian Certification is required.
• Experience with Epic electronic health records is required.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Must possess a valid state-issued Dietitian license in Iowa; compact licenses are accepted.

Profile Requirements

• Completed skills checklist within the last year.
• License verification documentation.
• Copy of all required certifications.
• One supervisory reference.
• A valid driver's license or other proof of taxable address outside a 50-mile radius from the facility.
