Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced X-Ray Technologist to join our team. This position requires a commitment to providing high-quality imaging services in a variety of settings including acute and outpatient care for patients from neonates to geriatrics. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 1 year of experience in the field and have proficiency with the Epic charting system.

Key Details

• Shift: Day, Monday - Friday (5x8 hours, rotating start times between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Weekend Requirement: As needed
• Patient Ratios:
  • Days: 1:9
  • Nights: 1:1
  • Weekends: 1:7

Responsibilities

The X-Ray Technologist will be responsible for:

• Performing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures including but not limited to abdomen, chest, spine, pelvis, and extremities.
• Ensuring adherence to isolation precautions and infection control protocols.
• Collaborating with healthcare providers and participating in patient care activities.
• Maintaining high standards of quality control and assurance in imaging.

Requirements

• Education: Must possess a valid X-Ray Technologist license upon start.
• Certifications: ARRT and BLS required.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year in radiology is mandatory; teaching hospital experience and trauma level experience are preferred.
• Charting System: Proficiency in Epic is required.

Work Settings

Candidates will have experience in various settings, including:

• Adult Acute Care
• Adult Outpatient
• Bedside/Portable Procedures
• Pediatric Outpatient

Equipment Experience

The role requires familiarity with the following:

• PACS
• C-Arm procedures
