Schedule: 3 shifts per week (12 hours each), from 6 AM to 6 PM; Total of 36 hours/week

Location: Local travelers accepted (within 50 miles of facility location)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to patients in various settings, including emergency departments and inpatient facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care and therapy to patients, including those requiring ventilation support.
• Assist in the transport of patients to tertiary care centers as needed.
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain a high level of proficiency in operating and managing ventilators, as well as administering BiPAP and CPAP treatments.

Patient Care

The typical therapist-to-patient ratio is 1:5 or 1:6. Candidates should be prepared to address a wide range of patient needs, including emergency interventions and inpatient care.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years of current acute care experience is required.
• Previous travel experience in respiratory therapy is highly preferred.
• A high degree of proficiency in working with various ventilators is essential.
• Experience with high-heat humidification (HHN), BiPAP, and CPAP is required.

Licensure and Certifications

• Active American Heart Association BLS certification is required.
• Active NBRC or CRT credentials are required.
• New Hampshire Respiratory Care Practitioner (NH RCP) licensure is mandatory. A temporary license will be accepted, and applicants must be willing to apply for a temporary NH RCP license at the time of the job offer.

Dress Code

Employees are required to wear scrubs in any color, and closed-toe shoes are mandatory. Fragrances such as perfume or cologne are not permitted.
