Description
Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - Oncology
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Oncology to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative clinic/ambulatory setting with a focus on patient care and treatment.
Shift Details
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Start Time: 0730 or 0800
- End Time: 1600 or 1630
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week
- Weekend Requirements: None
- On Call Requirements: None
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to oncology patients in a clinic/ambulatory setting.
- Administer chemotherapy and manage treatment plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions and provide education on treatment.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 12 months of Oncology experience in a clinic or ambulatory setting required.
- First-time travelers with at least 24 months of Oncology experience will be considered.
- EPIC (Beacon) experience is strongly encouraged.
- Must possess port competency experience.
- Phlebotomy experience is required.
- Active Iowa or Compact/Multistate nursing license is required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC is required.
