Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR)

Location: Iowa

Contract Duration: 10 weeks

Shift Information

• Days: 6:30 AM start time
• Shift Length: 8 or 10 hours depending on staffing and cases
• Total Hours: 40 hours per week

Weekend and On-Call Requirements

• On-call 1 night per week
• Available for 1 weekend per month

Orientation Date

Orientation will begin on May 4.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 24 months of experience in the Operating Room (OR) required
• Proficient experience in DaVinci robotics required
• Proficient experience in orthopedic procedures including total joints and general surgery required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Proficient spine experience required
• Travel experience within the last 24 months preferred
• Scrub experience is a nice to have

Licensure and Certification Requirements

• Active Iowa state license or compact/multistate license (document required)
• AHA/ARC Certified Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required
• AHA/ARC Certified Basic Life Support (BLS) required

Additional Requirements

• Work history/resume must demonstrate 24 months of current Operating Room experience
• Skills checklist specific to Operating Room Nurse/RN is required
• Professional reference from a charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO within the last 24 months is preferred
• Driver's License (document required)
