Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Inpatient Rehabilitation

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Inpatient Rehabilitation to join our team. This role requires the ability to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment, with responsibilities spanning across multiple campuses and similar units.

Shift Details

• Schedule: 4x12 hour shifts, totaling 48 hours per week
• Holiday rotation included
• Floating across campuses and like units (MWH, ILH, IMMC)
• Every other weekend requirement

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for a diverse range of patients, including those with neurological, orthopedic, trauma, and oncology conditions.
• Independently manage patients with brain injuries, limb loss, and spinal cord injuries.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 24 months experience in acute rehabilitation or medical-surgical settings.
• Proven ability to handle a variety of patient conditions independently.
• Completion of at least one successful travel contract within the past 24 months.
• Active Iowa state license or compact/multistate license required at time of submission.
• NIHSS certification is preferred.

Certifications Required

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA/American Heart Association, ARC/American Red Cross.

Location

This position may require floating across different campuses located in various cities in Iowa.
