Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team in a vibrant healthcare environment. This position requires a minimum of one year of scrub experience in Neuro and Stroke Interventional Radiology and the ability to support both Neuro and Body procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of scrub experience in Neuro procedures is required.
• Experience in daily caseload management with 13-17 patients.
• Experience with PACS, contrast, and all IR procedures including stents, angioplasty, angiograms, nephrograms, kyphoplasty, and biopsies.
• Experience with Siemens and Phillips x-ray equipment is required.
• Certifications: BLS and ARRT are required. ARRT Advanced Certification is preferred.
• Knowledge of Epic and McKesson is preferred.

Skills

Preferred skills include:

• Neuro and Stroke experience in Interventional Radiology
• Venous Access and managing ports
• Central Venous Access (non-tunneled/PICC lines)
• Angioplasty, chest tube placement, embolization, ERCP, and gastrostomy tube placement
• Vascular studies/procedures, cardiac catheter lab procedures, and neurological studies/procedures
• Genitourinary studies/procedures

Work Schedule

The position includes staggered shift start times between 07:00 and 08:30, Monday through Friday, working four 10-hour days. On-call rotation is required, with primary and backup call responsibilities shared with other team members.

Patient Care

This role involves working with a patient population primarily consisting of adults and geriatrics, with occasional adolescent cases. Experience in a Level I trauma center is preferred.

Additional Information

Hospital orientation is required during the first week. Candidates must be available for classes each day. Scrubs will be provided.
