Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - OR Circulate
Shift Details
- Shift Type: Nights
- Shift Times: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
- Hours per Day: 12
- Weekend Shifts: Midnight shifts on Saturday and Sunday (1900-0730)
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hour Guarantee
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Operating Room team as a Circulating Nurse. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the perioperative setting and will have a proven track record in multiple surgical specialties.
Qualifications
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of Operating Room experience is required.
- Circulation Skills: Must be proficient in the role of a Circulating Nurse.
- Surgical Specialties: Experience in Orthopedics, General Surgery, Gynecology, Urology, and Neurosurgery is necessary.
- Trauma Experience: Preferred applicants should have experience in a Trauma Level II facility.
- Licensure: A valid and active Registered Nurse license in Michigan is required at the time of application.
- Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is mandatory.
Additional Information
Physical copies of certifications are only required if specifically listed in the job requirements. A skills checklist completed within the past year is also necessary for nursing specialties.
