Description
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor and Delivery (L&D) to join our team. This position will encompass various aspects of obstetric care, including OB triage, outpatient testing, antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and nursery care.
Shift Details
- Guaranteed 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend availability required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients throughout the labor and delivery process.
- Educate patients and their support persons on care procedures and health guidelines.
- Document patient care and progress in the electronic medical record system.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to effectively coordinate patient care.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in labor and delivery nursing.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
- Experience with OBIX for fetal surveillance and EPIC for electronic health records is highly preferred.
- Certifications in Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) and STABLE are highly preferred.
Licensure Requirements
- Oregon Registered Nurse (RN) license required (must be willing to obtain if not currently active).
