Description
Position: Registered Nurse - Endoscopy
Shift Details
Work Schedule: 12-hour shifts (08:00 AM - 08:30 PM)
- Work Schedule: 3x12-Hour shifts
- No Block Schedules
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required
- Endoscopy experience preferred
- PACU experience is a plus
- Experience with a 1:1 patient ratio required
Certifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
Skills
- Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
- Starting and maintaining IVs

- Daily Census: 60-70 cases per day

- EGD, Colonoscopy, and enteroscopy
- Single and double balloon enteroscopy
- Sigmoidoscopy and pouchoscopy
- Upper/lower endoscopic ultrasound (EUS)
- Endoscopic bariatric procedures
- Specimen collection and cytology
- Endoscopic cholangiopancreatography (ERCP)
- Biliary sphincterotomy and CBD stone removal
- Endoscopic suturing
Special Equipment
- Olympus Endoscopes (ERCP, EUS, Colon, EGD)
- Olympus Light Source and Processor
- Endoscopic Ultrasound Equipment
- BRAVO and ERBE Cautery and APC
Scheduling and Time Off
- Patient Ratios: 1:1:3 during the day shift
- Float required
- 3 weekend shifts required per contract
- Two pre-approved time off requests allowed
- Orientation Hours: 24
