Position: Radiation Therapist

Location:

Santa Rosa, CA

Shift:

Day Shift (5x8 Hour, 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM)

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a daily caseload of approximately 25 patients.
• Implement external beam therapy and intensity-modulated radiotherapy (IMRT) as part of treatment plans.
• Utilize treatment planning systems such as Pinnacle (Philips) and Eclipse (Varian) for dose calculations.
• Perform tumor localization and beam modification/positioning through various advanced techniques.
• Employ custom molds and shields in radiation therapy as needed.
• Maintain adherence to isolation precautions, radiation safety protocols, and age-specific competencies.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in radiation therapy.
• Required certifications:
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ARRT (Radiation Therapy)
  • California State License
• Preferred skills include familiarity with ARIA skillset and EPIC charting system.
• Experience with Varian 21 EX/iX equipment is mandatory.

Work Environment:

• Type of Facility: Oncology Center
• Scrubs will be provided.
• Parking expenses will be covered by the facility.

Professional Skills:

• Expertise in isolation precautions and PPE use.
• Knowledge of radiation safety protocols.
• Ability to manage rapid response/code teams.
