Position: Interventional Radiology Technologist

Location

Seattle, WA

Shift

Day shift, 4x10 hours (07:00 - 17:30)

Overview

Join a fast-paced Interventional Radiology department that supports both Vascular Surgeons and Interventional Radiologists. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside a well-rounded and experienced team utilizing advanced equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up equipment for procedures.
• Prepare access sites and act as the room circulator.
• Maintain a sterile field during procedures.
• Assist in various interventional radiology procedures including, but not limited to:
• Angiograms
• Nephrograms
• Kyphoplasty
• Peripheral interventions
• Venous access procedures
• Biopsies

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in Interventional Radiology.
• Required certifications:
  • ARRT (R)
  • BLS
  • Washington State License
• Preferred certifications:
  • IR/CV Certification
• Experience in outpatient, operating room, emergency room, and adult ICU settings is preferred.

Skills

• Familiarity with GE Innova IGS and Siemens equipment.
• Proficient in various interventional techniques including:
• Chest tube placement
• Embolization
• Gastrostomy Tube and Nephrostomy placements
• Thoracentesis
• Stent placements
• Endovascular interventions
• Dialysis graft interventions
• Knowledge of infection control and sterile techniques.

Work Environment

This role involves working in a fast-paced Interventional Radiology department that utilizes Philips rooms including one biplane and a GE Hybrid room. Technologists will work collaboratively with vascular surgeons and interventional radiologists to provide high-quality patient care.

Patient Population

The candidate will work with a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Experience with various patient diagnoses is preferred.
