Position: Emergency Room RN

Location: Lake Geneva, WI

Shift: Mid Shifts (36 hours per week)

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join our team. This role requires a dedicated professional who can deliver exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to provide high-quality patient care.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments following approved nursing techniques, policies, procedures, standards of care, and state laws.
• Document patient care activities according to established standards.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
• Develop, initiate, and execute individualized patient care plans as prescribed by physicians and/or clinic policies, including educating patients and families.
• Participate in department or unit performance improvement initiatives, including shared governance.
• Provide clinical expertise and support to other departments in alignment with patients' longitudinal care plans.
• Apply critical thinking skills to ensure patient safety and a positive patient experience, escalating concerns through the appropriate channels.
• Engage in the professional nursing continuum, including unit practice activities, decision-making, and peer review processes.

Requirements

• Wisconsin Registered Nurse Licensure
• BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification
• PALS Certification
• NIHSS Certification
• Either TNCC or TNS Certification
• Minimum of less than 1 year of experience in Emergency Room nursing
