Job Opportunity

Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapist to join our team. This position requires availability every other weekend, including holidays, following a night shift schedule from 19:00 to 7:00. Candidates must reside outside a 100-mile radius and possess pediatric experience.

Qualifications

Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) in Respiratory Therapy
New York State license/registration as a Respiratory Therapist
Minimum of 2 years clinical acute care experience post-A.A.S. degree
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Successful completion of pre-employment health clearance

Responsibilities

Administer positive pressure and aerosol therapy to patients
Institute and monitor oxygen therapy
Assist physicians with continuous ventilation procedures
Administer cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
Perform pulmonary function tests
Conduct radial arterial punctures
Execute a majority of patient care functions in the acute care setting with minimal orientation and supervision
