Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - Electrophysiology Lab (EP)

Work Schedule

This position includes a schedule of four 10-hour shifts per week, starting at 7:00 AM, totaling 40 hours weekly. On-call responsibilities may be required, possibly one time per week, with weekend work as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in the Electrophysiology Lab.
• Assist in the preparation and recovery of patients undergoing electrophysiological procedures.
• Collaborate with medical professionals and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using electronic medical records.

Holiday Requirements

Contractors may be required to work 1-2 of the following summer holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day, unless the unit is closed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 24 months of current experience in Electrophysiology, Cardiac Catheterization Lab, or Interventional Radiology.
• Active Iowa nursing license or a compact multistate license required at the time of submission.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records is preferred.
• Previous travel nursing experience is a plus.
