Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled X-Ray Technician with experience in Radiology and Cardiology to join our dynamic team. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of various imaging techniques and a patient-centered approach to care.

Position Details

• Shift: Mid 5x8-Hour (15:00 - 23:00)
• Patient Ratio: 1:1
• Weekend Coverage: Every Other
• Number of Weekend Shifts Per Contract: 7
• Orientation Hours: 80

Required Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as X-Ray Technician (preferred)
• Washington State License (WA LIC)
• ARRT (R) certification
• BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in teaching hospitals and community hospitals
• Experience in Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) settings
• Trauma Level I and II experience
• Familiarity with Epic charting system

Clinical Skills Required

• Abdomen Imaging (Decubitus, Supine, Upright)
• Upper Extremity Imaging (Clavicle, Elbow, Hand, Shoulder)
• Lower Extremity Imaging (Ankle, Femur, Foot, Knee)
• Fluoroscopy Studies (Arthrography, Barium Swallow)
• Chest Imaging (AP, Lateral Decubitus)
• Spine and Pelvis Imaging

Work Settings

• Adult Acute Care
• Adult Outpatient
• Emergency Department
• ICU and NICU
• Operating Room
• Pediatric Acute Care and Outpatient

Patient Demographics

This role will involve direct patient care across various age groups, including neonates, infants, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

• Daily Census: 260 patients
• Number of Visits Per Day: 150
• Number of Beds: 290
• Interdisciplinary Support: Includes IV Teams, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, Social Services, and more

• Infection Prevention and Control
• Radiation Safety Practices
• Preparation and Administration of Contrast Media
• Management and Leadership Experience (preferred)
