License(s) and Certification(s)

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Colorado or from a valid compact state required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required

Overview

This position entails responsibility and accountability for providing exceptional nursing care to patients and their families. The RN OR Circulator is expected to deliver expert, compassionate, and individualized nursing care. Collaboration with healthcare providers, staff, and other team members is essential to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily patient flow to enhance patient care, safety, and satisfaction.
• Triage incoming patient requests for services effectively.
• Deliver patient education to support care plans, inform healthcare choices, and promote overall wellness.
• Delegate care appropriately as per Colorado statute.
• Exhibit competent healthcare assessment, prioritization, and critical thinking skills.
• Manage a high volume of patient requests via telephone, providing information and assistance as necessary.
• Administer medications, perform treatments, and assist in procedures while strictly adhering to patient safety guidelines.
• Coordinate patient care with other physician practices and facilities to ensure the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Promote excellent service by utilizing Relationship-Based Care to advocate for patient safety, preferences, and optimal communication.
• Role model the principles of a Just Culture and Organizational Values.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
