Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist to join our dynamic team. This position offers a comprehensive range of cardiovascular and peripheral services in a progressive medical facility located in Southwest Oklahoma. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various catheterization procedures and will actively participate in delivering high-quality patient care.

Shift Schedule

• Work Hours: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday (8-hour days)
• Total Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed
• Weekend Requirements: None

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in performing a variety of procedures including Left Heart Cath, Right Heart Cath, PTCA, Stenting, Thrombectomy, and Atherectomy.
• Conduct carotid diagnostic and stenting procedures, as well as peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Participate in Pacemaker Insertion, Tilt Table Tests, Kyphoplasty, and AV graft procedures.
• Operate and be proficient in using various devices including Philips Laser System, IVUS, OCT, and different coronary and peripheral atherectomy devices.
• Utilize two Siemens Artis Zee C-arms effectively.
• Manage patient pre and post care, transportation, and assist with inventory management and billing.
• Rotate between scrubbing and circulating duties during procedures.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of related cath lab experience is required.
• Recent traveler experience is preferred.
• Current certifications in BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) are preferred.
• Must provide a skills checklist current within the last year, relevant to the specialty.
• Two supervisory reference forms completed within the past two years are required.

Additional Information

• Orientation for Allied and Therapy Travelers begins on Tuesdays and for Nursing Travelers on Thursdays.
• On-call duties when assigned are compensated with hourly rates.
• Consideration for local candidates within 50 miles at a reduced travel rate.
