Position: Cardiovascular Sonographer
Job Description
As a valued member of the interdisciplinary team, the Cardiovascular Sonographer will utilize professional and clinical expertise to deliver exceptional care to patients. This role may involve floating among local campuses within the same discipline to ensure effective patient management.
Shift Details
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
- Weekend Requirements: None
- On-Call Requirements: 1-2 nights per week and 1 weekend per month

- May 26–27
- June 8–9
Responsibilities
- Perform 7-8 scans per day, including comprehensive vascular processes such as renal assessments, pre-operative evaluations, and pain mapping.
- Utilize advanced skills in cardiovascular and vascular sonography to provide detailed diagnostic information.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Cardiovascular Sonographer.
- Completion of at least 1 travel contract.
- Experience with EPIC electronic medical records.
- Active Iowa license at the time of application.
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) and Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certifications are required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an accredited organization.
