Description
Position: Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technician
We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technician to join our team. This position is essential for providing advanced care in our Cath Lab, working with a dedicated team to support patients undergoing various cardiovascular procedures.
Key Details:
- Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30)
- Years of Experience: 2 years
- Call Required: Yes, 1 shift per week and every 4th weekend
- Patient Age Groups: Adults, Geriatrics, Pediatrics, Adolescents
Qualifications:
- Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R) or RCIS
- Preferred Skills:
- Procedural Responsibilities
- Accurate monitoring and EKG lead placement
- Maintaining a sterile field during procedures
Essential Skills and Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures including but not limited to:
- Left Heart Catheterization
- Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI)
- Cardiac Stent Placement
- Electrophysiology Studies
- Cardiac Ablation and Mapping
- Impella and IABP management
- Vascular Procedures such as Angioplasty and Stent placements
- Experience with interventional radiology and neurointervention preferred.
- Ability to perform various studies and manage complications related to catheterization procedures.

- EP Experience
- IR Experience
- Vascular Experience
- Monitoring Experience
- Neuro Experience
- Experience with devices like AICDs and temporary LVAD support.
Work Environment:
This role will take place in various settings, including diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization labs as well as interventional radiology. The ideal candidate will be capable of floating within their scope to meet facility needs.
