Job Opportunity

Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The ideal candidate will bring clinical expertise and a collaborative spirit to our interdisciplinary healthcare team, ensuring the highest standards of care for critically ill patients.

Shift Details

Days: 0700 start
Shift Length: 36 or 48 hours
Weekend Requirements: Every third weekend

Additional Responsibilities

The nurse may be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses when necessary.

Compensation Package

Overtime available after 40 hours per week for 36-40 hour schedules
Overtime available after 48 hours per week for 48 hour schedules
On Call Compensation

Patient Population

The ICU nurse will be responsible for caring for patients with a variety of critical conditions, including:

Cardiac issues
Trauma cases
Neurological disorders

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required
First-time travelers are welcome to apply
ACLS certification required
BLS certification required
PALS certification required
CPI certification required
Experience with EPIC electronic medical records (EMR) system required
State License Requirements: Iowa - Compact Allowed
