Position Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery (L&D)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor and Delivery (L&D) to provide comprehensive care to expectant mothers throughout pregnancy, labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to maternal and newborn health.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs to ensure the health and safety of both mother and baby.
• Assist physicians and midwives during deliveries.
• Manage complications that may arise during labor and delivery.
• Educate families on newborn care and promote a smooth transition to parenthood.
• Provide antepartum and intrapartum care to patients.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN.
• Active state license in Michigan at the time of application.

Work Schedule

• 36-hour weekly guarantee.
• Every other weekend availability required.
• Additional requirements may include being on-call as specified in the schedule.
