Position: Occupational Therapist (Inpatient)

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team, providing interdisciplinary/transdisciplinary occupational therapy services to our patients. This position requires working under the guidance of the Manager of Inpatient Therapy Services.

Schedule

• Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
• Weekend Requirements: None

Responsibilities

The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for:

• Providing high-quality occupational therapy services to patients in an inpatient acute care setting.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient-centered treatment plans.
• Monitoring patient progress and modifying treatment plans as necessary to achieve rehabilitation goals.
• Educating patients and their families on therapy techniques and home exercises.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
• Licensure: Must be registered and licensed to practice in the State of Michigan.
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of Occupational Therapy experience, with a preference for inpatient acute care and ICU experience.
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an accredited provider.
