Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our healthcare team. As a vital member of the interdisciplinary team, the Physical Therapist will contribute professional and clinical expertise in the management and provision of care to patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality physical therapy services to patients in an outpatient clinic setting.
• Participate in the assessment and development of individualized care plans for patients.
• Offer support and care in acute care settings as needed.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately using the EPIC electronic medical record system.
• Work with orthopedic, neurological, and safety discharge patients, focusing primarily on their rehabilitation needs.

Schedule

This position has a start time of 8:00 AM with an expectation of working 36-40 hours per week. You will typically work four days in the outpatient clinic and one day in acute care. Candidates should be prepared to work during summer holidays.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of experience as a Physical Therapist.
• Completion of at least one travel contract is preferred.
• Experience working in outpatient settings is required; inpatient experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in using EPIC or similar electronic medical record systems is essential.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Current BLS certification from an accredited organization.
• Applicants should hold or be willing to apply for a physical therapy license in Iowa.

Orientation Schedule

Orientation is conducted weekly, every Monday.
