Job Opportunity

Position: Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Location: Columbus, OH

Shift Details

Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 5x8 hours (08:00 - 16:30)
Flexible start times: 6:00 AM, 6:30 AM, 7:00 AM, 7:30 AM, 8:00 AM, 8:30 AM, and 9:30 AM
One evening shift and one Saturday required per month
26-week contract with restricted time off (RTO) for February and March

Required Experience

Minimum 1 year of experience in Nuclear Medicine
Teaching hospital experience is preferred
Experience in PET/CT and General Nuclear Medicine is necessary

Certifications

ARRT N or ARRT R (or NMTCB) - does not require all three
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Ohio State License

Skills and Competencies

Ability to start and maintain IVs
Experience with PACS
Familiarity with outpatient settings
Experience in ICU and EKGs preferred

Patient Demographics

Adults and Geriatrics
Pediatric experience is preferred, especially with adolescents

Daily Responsibilities

Perform approximately 33 PET/CT scans daily
Conduct whole-body FDG, brain, cardiac, and neuroendocrine imaging
Utilize 2 PET/CT scanners, primarily for oncologic diagnoses

Work Environment

Clinic and hospital settings
Supportive team environment
Federal holidays off

Orientation

40 hours of orientation provided
