Position Summary

The Sub-Regional Clinic Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the clinic, ensuring efficient patient flow and coordinated care. This role entails maintaining accurate medical records, optimizing reimbursement processes, and providing essential documentation for effective clinic management. The manager will also serve as a liaison between departments and the clinic and will be responsible for staffing needs.

Position Qualifications

• Completion of a nursing education program from an NLN-approved institution; a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required, while a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or a Master's degree in a related healthcare field is preferred.
• A minimum of five (5) years of progressive nursing management experience, with three years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
• Must hold a valid and unrestricted Registered Professional Nurse (RN) license in Alaska.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required, along with the ability to pass and maintain competencies for the position.
• Familiarity with office equipment and computer systems commonly used in a medical outpatient clinic environment.
• Knowledge of regulatory agency standards that pertain to healthcare organizations, with the ability to manage care across the continuum effectively.
• Flexibility in work schedule and the capacity for independent action within prescribed limits is necessary.

Shift Information

Work schedule details will be discussed with the manager; typical hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Holiday Coverage

Holiday coverage is not required for this position.

Minimum Experience Requirement

A minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience is required for this role.

Certifications/Requirements

• Current BLS/BCLS certification.
