Position: Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our Interventional Radiology department. This is a new contract position offering a schedule of four 10-hour shifts, typically from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Holiday coverage will be required as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients to evaluate their mental, physical, and spiritual needs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Provide clear explanations and instructions to patients and their responsible parties.
• Utilize nursing clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient conditions.
• Foster a positive workplace environment by effectively managing conflict and using professional communication skills.
• Meet Core Measure responsibilities related to patient care.
• Engage in continuing education to enhance nursing practice.
• Maintain complete and accurate medical records.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license in Illinois.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in relevant settings.

Additional Information

The successful candidate will be proficient in moderate sedation and will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care within our Interventional Radiology unit.
