Position: MRI Tech

We are seeking a skilled MRI Tech to join our team in an acute hospital setting. This is a 13-week assignment with a variable night shift schedule comprising four 10-hour shifts from 20:00 to 06:00.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI scans primarily focusing on brain and spinal imaging, as well as abdominal and extremity imaging.
• Work collaboratively with anesthesia and ICU patients.
• Utilize MRI equipment, including a Siemens Sola 1.5T MRI machine and a Siemens Free.Max 0.55T MRI machine.
• Ensure high-quality imaging results through proper operation and maintenance of MRI machines.

Requirements:

• Education and Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in MRI technology.
• Certifications:
  • ARRT MR (preferred)
  • ARRT R (required)
  • BLS (required)
• Trauma Experience: Level I Trauma experience preferred.

Skills:

• Proficient in abdomen and pelvic imaging, including male and female pelvis.
• Experience with special imaging procedures such as CINE, diffusion, and gradient echo imaging.
• Skilled in performing multiplanar reconstruction and maximum intensity projection techniques.
• Experience with musculoskeletal imaging, including imaging of the foot, hip, knee, and shoulder.
