Job Opportunity

Position: Cath Lab Tech

Location: Oregon

Unit: CATH Lab Tech

Shift Information:

• Day Shift: 4x10 Hours (07:00 - 17:00)
• Block Schedules: No

Experience Requirements:

• 1 year of experience preferred
• Active Radiology Technologist license from another state is acceptable if the candidate has applied or will apply for an Oregon License from the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging.

Certifications:

• ACLS*
• BLS*
• CCI RCIS or ARRT OBMI Licensure*

Skills:

• Accurate monitoring of patients
• Recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias
• Room circulator responsibilities
• Scrub duties to maintain a sterile field

Procedural Responsibilities:

• Cardiac, Neuro, Vascular, and Genitourinary procedures including but not limited to:
• Angioplasty*
• Diagnostic catheterizations
• Stent placement
• Thrombectomy
• ECMO*
• Cardiac Cath Lab Procedures
• Cystoscopy*
• Dialysis Graft Creation and Interventions*

Work Settings:

• Diagnostic Cardiac Cath Lab
• Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab
• Electrophysiology Lab*

Equipment and Devices:

• Fluoroscopy
• PACS*

Infection Control:

• Ability to maintain sterile techniques

Patient Care Details:

• Age Groups: Adults and Geriatrics
• Daily Patient Census: 25
• Number of Procedure Rooms: 7

Special Requirements:

• Electrophysiology (EP) experience is required.
• Will work between units based on experience.

Orientation Hours:

• 40 hours
