Overview

We are seeking an experienced Dietitian to join our team in a long-term care setting. The position requires a dedicated professional with expertise in nutrition and the ability to provide quality care to residents.

Job Details

This position offers a day shift schedule, consisting of 40 hours per week. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in promoting health and well-being through effective nutritional strategies.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments utilizing clinical data, laboratory values, weight trends, and disease-specific guidelines.
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized nutrition care plans, including therapeutic diets, supplementation, enteral feeding, and hydration strategies.
• Monitor resident outcomes and modify interventions in response to medical changes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure coordinated, compliant, and resident-centered nutrition services.
• Provide targeted nutrition education to residents, families, and staff to support disease management and diet adherence.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation to support audits, surveys, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to community outreach and consultative services through education and professional expertise.

Qualifications

• Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or eligible for registration.
• Licensed as a Registered Dietitian in North Dakota.

Experience

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of two years of relevant experience in the field.

Work Environment

This position is within a trauma level 2 facility, providing an opportunity to work in a supportive administrative structure.
