Position Summary

This role involves providing professional and clinical knowledge as a Registered Nurse (RN) within Med Surg/Telemetry and Progressive Care Units (PCU). The successful candidate will be a vital part of an interdisciplinary team dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and provide care to patients, contributing clinical expertise and knowledge.
• Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed.

Schedule

• Days: 3 shifts of 12 hours each week.
• Holiday: Every other holiday required.
• Weekend: Every other weekend required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a step-down unit is required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is required.
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification is necessary.
• First-time travelers are encouraged to apply.
• Must have the ability to float to the Emergency Department (ED) when necessary.
• Driver’s License is required.
• Work history/resume is required.
• Skills checklist must have been completed within one year of submission date.
• License verification and copies of required certifications are necessary.
• One supervisory reference is needed at the time of submission.
