Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for a night shift position. The role involves providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to manage the care of critically ill patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the ICU.
• Contribute clinical expertise and professional knowledge in a team-oriented environment.
• Float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed.

Shift Details:

• Shift Start: 1900
• Shift Length: 36 or 48 hours per week
• Weekend Requirements: Every third weekend

Patient Population:

This position involves caring for patients with cardiac, trauma, and neuro conditions.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of prior experience in critical care nursing.
• Must possess current EMT certification including BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
• CPI certification is required.
• TNCC certification is preferred and must be obtained if extending; not needed to start.
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records (EMR) is required.
• Iowa state license is required (compact licenses are allowed).
