Registered Nurse (RN) - First Assist

Shift Details:

• 40-hour Guarantee
• Weekend and holiday coverage required as needed

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as a First Assist. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in perioperative nursing, with a focus on providing excellent patient care in a collaborative environment.

It has received accolades for its clinical excellence and offers a range of medical specialties, including anesthesiology, emergency medicine, and orthopaedic surgery, among others. The facility boasts state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging and is dedicated to serving the local community effectively.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of current experience as an RN
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Active Massachusetts RN license
• Certification as a Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Experience with Meditech Expanse highly preferred

• Unit Size: 8 beds
• Dress Code: Facility-provided scrubs
• Orientation: 8 hours non-billable

Travel Requirements:

Candidates must have their own vehicle for transportation needs related to this position. Please note that travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered.

Requests for time off during the assignment must be clearly noted and confirmed at the time of submission. A maximum of 5 days of requested time off is permissible, with fewer days preferred.
