Position Details

This position involves working in the Cardiac Cath Lab, specifically focusing on Electrophysiology, TAVR, and Left Atrial Appendage Closure. The schedule includes Monday through Friday, with hours between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM, along with one to two weeknights on call and every fourth weekend.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure the integrity and expiration dates of all sterile supplies.
• Prepare patients and equipment for procedures while utilizing sterile techniques.
• After procedures, prepare equipment and supplies for sterilization.
• Monitor and record all procedural data, maintaining event logs.
• Ensure patient comfort by familiarizing them with the equipment and supplies needed for the procedure.
• Apply necessary monitors and prepare access sites, including sterile draping.
• Utilize sterile and aseptic techniques when scrubbing into procedures to prevent infections.
• Advocate for radiation safety and protection for oneself and colleagues.
• Document fluoroscopy times and radiation doses, evaluating reports to ensure they are within established safety limits.

Education & Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiology program (Education verification required).
• AART registered.
• Wisconsin State Radiology Technologist License.
• Cardiovascular Technologist registered.
• BLS Certification.
• ACLS Certification.

Shift Information

The work schedule is Monday through Friday, with hours from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, requiring holiday coverage and participation in weekend rotations.

Experience Requirements

Minimum of less than 1 year of experience.
