Description
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Neuro ICU Travel Nurse to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality care to critically ill patients in a specialized Neuro Intensive Care Unit.
Shift Information
- Rotation: Days/Nights with Every Other Weekend (EOW)
- Weekend shifts consist of Friday and Saturday nights; Sunday is not considered a weekend.
- Block scheduling is not guaranteed, and paired scheduling with another traveler is not ensured.
- Rotation every 4 weeks, based on unit needs.
- Final confirmation of schedules will be provided during the interview.
Patient Care Responsibilities
- Patient Ratio: Estimated 1:1-2.
- Floating: Required to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity.
Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Neuro ICU.
- Certifications required:
- BCLS
- ACLS
- NIHSS (AHA Certifications only)
Skills Required
- IV Start
- Telemetry
- Ventilators
- Intracranial Pressure Monitoring
EHR Experience
Experience with Epic electronic health records is required.

- 24/7 access to additional surface lots.
