Interventional Radiology Technologist

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team. This professional will be responsible for providing high-quality care during vascular procedures and ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Shift Details

• Days: 4x10 hour shifts starting at 7 AM, totaling 40 hours per week.
• Holiday rotation required; must work 1-2 of the 3 upcoming summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day).
• On-call duties every 3rd evening and every 3rd weekend; need to float as required across multiple locations.

Unit Information

• Average of 25 cases per day.
• Focus on vascular procedure management.
• One call team that supports both facilities, primarily handling emergencies at a Level I trauma facility.
• Key responsibilities include scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring during procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months of experience in vascular procedures within a hospital or medical center setting is required.
• Experience in scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring is essential.
• Experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab is mandatory.
• Prior experience supporting Operating Room procedures is required.
• Peripheral vascular experience is a must.
• Level I trauma experience is preferred.
• Iowa Radiology license is highly preferred; consideration will be given to candidates in the licensing process.
• Active ARRT (R) certification is required; ARRT (CI or VI) is preferred.
• RCIS or CCI certification is a plus.

Certification Requirements

• Current BLS certification is required.
