The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering age-specific, direct patient care using the Nursing Process within established standards of patient care. This role includes leading and delegating tasks to other staff members while ensuring compliance with all relevant state and federal regulations governing healthcare provision.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct care to patients in accordance with nursing standards.
• Utilize the Nursing Process effectively in patient assessments and care planning.
• Assume leadership responsibilities and delegate tasks as appropriate.
• Maintain compliance with departmental and specialty-specific standards of patient care.

Shift Information

Shifts are typically during the day and may vary. Holiday coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of less than 1 year of nursing experience.
• Current certifications required:
  • ACLS
  • BLS/BCLS
  • PALS
  • NRP
  • ATT
  • ENPC
  • TNCC
• If any certifications are not active by the start date, a plan must be established to obtain updates.
