Shift Information

The position requires a start time of 7:30 AM with shifts of either 8 or 10 hours, based on department needs and case requirements. The role encompasses 40 hours per week, with floating responsibilities across multiple infusion centers. No weekend or call duties are included.

Job Description

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses specializing in Infusion Therapy to join our team. Candidates will be actively engaged in patient care, specifically focusing on infusion treatments which include chemotherapy.

Unit Information

• Bed Size: 16
• Patient Ratio: 1:3
• Floating required across multiple infusion centers
• Patient Types: Infusion including Chemotherapy

Qualifications

• A minimum of 24 months of infusion/infusion therapy experience in outpatient, hospital, or medical center settings is required.
• Experience with chemotherapy administration is required.
• First-time travelers will be considered if they possess at least 2 years of infusion experience.
• Experience with EPIC EMR system is required.

Profile Requirements

• Active Iowa license or compact/multistate license must be presented at the time of submission.
• Work history and skills checklist must demonstrate relevant experience in infusion therapy.
• Professional references from a charge nurse, supervisor, manager, director, CNO, or COO within the last 24 months are preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required.
