Description
Job Description:
We are seeking experienced ICU Registered Nurses to join our team. The ideal candidates will be proficient in managing critical care patients and flexible in their ability to float between various units, including Medical HVCC, SICU, and IMC.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care to patients in the Medical Intensive Care and Neuro Critical Care Units.
- Manage a patient ratio of 1:2, or 1:1 for patients requiring intensive monitoring.
- Administer treatments for a variety of critical conditions, including Sepsis, ESRD, AKI requiring CRRT/CVVH, post-cardiac arrest care, and respiratory failure.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Shift Information:
This is a 12-hour night shift position, with shifts from 7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. Candidates must be available for holiday coverage.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Level 1 ICU or 1 year in a MICU setting.
- Required certifications: NIHSS, BLS, and ACLS (all through the American Heart Association).
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to patient care.
Additional Information:
We are looking for dedicated ICU nurses with solid backgrounds. Candidates with only 1 year of experience or recent graduates may not meet the needs of our unit.
