Job Description

This position requires a skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join a dynamic Flex Team on the night shift. The role involves delivering high-quality patient care in a large, high-acuity emergency care unit with 118 beds. The patient population is diverse, including behavioral health and boarding patients as well as critically ill/ICU-level patients. Nurses in this role must be equipped to manage complex and unstable patients effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Manage high-acuity cases with strong critical care skills.
• Adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Demonstrate proficiency in handling behavioral health and trauma cases.

Shift Information

• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Holiday coverage required

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Emergency Department (ED) or Intensive Care Unit (ICU) nursing, post-orientation.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage diverse patient populations and complex cases.
