Assignment Details
We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist for a 13 or 26-week assignment. The position offers a 4x10 day shift schedule, ideal for those looking to balance work and personal time.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and either ARRT (R) or RCIS
- Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs, including potential assignments in Interventional Radiology (IR) and Electrophysiology (EP)
- Required experience includes:
- EP Experience
- IR Experience
- Vascular Experience
- Monitoring Skills
- Neuro Experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Chronic Total Occlusions (CTO)
- Proficiency in Peripheral and Venous Access
- Skilled in Rhythm Interpretation
- Familiarity with Philips X-Ray System
- Experience with a variety of Atherectomy and Thrombectomy devices
- Knowledge of Temporary LVAD support
- Experience with McKesson for Cath Lab and MacLab/Cardio Lab for EP
Work Schedule
The Cath Lab Technologist will be scheduled for 4 shifts per week, including some Saturdays as a regular part of the schedule. Additionally, on-call duties will be expected for one shift per week and every fourth weekend.
Unit Information
The position operates within a multidisciplinary environment catering to various procedures including:
- Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Catheterization
- STEMI management
- IABP and Impella support
- Structural Heart interventions (PFO, TAVR, Mitral Clip)
- Interventional Radiology (Lines, Drains, Embolizations, and more)
- Neurointervention and CRM Device implants
Additional Information
Time off requests will be considered on an individual basis and are limited to one per 13-week assignment. Guaranteed hours for the position are set at 70 hours per two weeks, with possible cancellations for one 10-hour shift during this period.
Scrub color will be provided, and all documentation will be managed using Epic. Parking at the facility is free.
