Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery (L&D)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor & Delivery (L&D) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional care to mothers and their newborns in a supportive environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients during the labor and delivery process.
• Collaborate effectively with obstetricians and midwives to support patient preferences and needs.
• Provide individualized education and support to mothers regarding postpartum care and infant care.
• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and delivery.
• Administer medications and assist in procedures as needed.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain standards of care.

Shift Requirements

• 12-hour night shifts with a commitment of 36 hours per week.
• Availability to work every other weekend and holidays as needed.
• On-call responsibilities may be required, to be determined.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of current experience in Labor & Delivery (L&D).
• Experience in Postpartum/Mother Baby care is required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required.
• Must possess a valid Massachusetts RN license.
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and STABLE are required.
• Must have a personal vehicle for transportation related to the assignment.
