Job Description
This position is for a skilled Registered Nurse in a mixed-acuity unit, focusing on progressive care. The role involves providing care for adult and geriatric patients with various chronic medical conditions.
Unit Overview
- Stepdown/PCU mixed-acuity unit.
- Support for both PCU and Med/Surg patients.
- Core staff will assist with the care of PCU-level patients.
Shift Details
- 36 hours per week, night shift (3x12 hours, 19:00 - 07:30).
- Some weekend shifts required.
- Floating within the organization is required.
- On-call responsibilities may be necessary.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required.
- 1st-time travelers are welcome to apply.
- Candidates with only 1 year of experience will require manager review.
- Certifications required: BLS, ACLS.

- WMC Agency Permit: Allows 24/7 access to the Wexner Medical Center Garage with guaranteed availability.
- WB Permit: Budget option; offers weekend/holiday access to garages and shuttle service to the medical center.
- CXS Permit: Allows weekend/holiday access to select garages and surface lots.
