Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and flexible Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) with scrub experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be willing to perform RN duties within the scope of practice in the Interventional Radiology Unit.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in a variety of surgical procedures, ensuring the highest level of patient care.
• Collaborate effectively with surgeons and surgical teams to provide optimal outcomes.
• Adapt quickly to stressful situations, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Participate in patient assessment and care planning in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements in the surgical setting.

Shift & Schedule

• 8-hour shifts during the day, with flexibility required for occasional evening needs.
• 40-hour work guarantee per week.
• Weekend requirements: Typically working one weekend every 5-6 weeks, from Friday 3:30 PM to Monday morning 7:00 AM.
• Call required on weekdays from 3:30 PM to 7:00 PM, typically 1-3 times per 5-6 days.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Operating Room.
• Strong scrub experience is preferred; RN candidates with scrub experience will receive first consideration for this role.
• Experience in multiple surgical specialties is required.
• Current BLS certification (AHA) is required.
• New Hampshire RN license or Compact license is required.
• Familiarity with EPIC systems is required.
• Must have a personal vehicle for commuting needs.
• Travelers must provide their permanent address for profile submission.
• All requested time off must be noted at the time of submission; no more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted.
• Must be willing to work major holiday blocks as outlined, including Thanksgiving and Christmas.
