Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team for a night shift position. This role involves working 12-hour shifts, totaling 36 hours per week, with every other weekend and holidays required as needed. There are no on-call requirements for this assignment.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care and therapies to patients as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and assess patients' respiratory status and progress.
• Administer treatments and medications as per established protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of respiratory care and patient progress.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of current experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) is required.
• Meditech Expanse experience is highly preferred.
• Current certifications in ACLS and PALS are preferred.
• Must possess a valid New Hampshire RRT License.
• Active certification from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) is required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• Travelers must have their own vehicle for this assignment.

Additional Information

New hires are required to complete an 8-hour orientation prior to starting their duties. Requesting time off during the assignment must be noted upon application, with no more than 5 days of time off accepted. Holidays must be worked as scheduled if required, particularly during peak times such as Thanksgiving and Christmas.
